We are intentional about de-colonizing how international partners tackle their interventions in Sudan, we want to ensure that there is more transparency and dialogue to shape the work around the needs of the community and ensure long-term sustainability. We understand that interventions could lead to peace or conflict and for this reason, we take into consideration how our work impacts communities. We are guided by the following document; Collaborative for Development Action (2004).

We mainstream environmental awareness into all products to ensure that we take into consideration the impact of projects, interventions and work on the environment. We also mobilize local communities and engage them in designing and implementing eco-friendly solutions that suit their local contexts.
Adaptive and context-sensitive
We do not claim absolute knowledge and our work is always guided by the needs and contributions of local communities. We will actively experiment, learn, adapt new tools and concepts and ensure that our interventions are sensitive, feasible and cost-effective.
